Can I get recognition for previous study or experience?
Skills recognition is the term used to describe a number of
assessment processes that formally recognise the competencies
an individual has acquired through formal or informal learning,
work experience and/or life experience. As most of the fee paying
courses conducted by AMA Services Queensland form competencies
of certificate courses, people usually enroll to gain initial
skills or update previously acquired skills. As such Recognition
of Prior Learning and Recognition of Current Competencies is
generally not a process undertaken by participants. This service
however is available and a fee is negotiated on a one by one
basis depending on the assessment process required to be undertaken.
